Deep Drawing
More About the Process
Deep Drawing
Deep drawing is a sheet metal forming process in which a flat blank is gradually formed into a three-dimensional component using specialized tooling. No material is removed during the process; instead, the material is shaped into the desired geometry.
Using deep drawing technology, we manufacture housings, covers, protective components, containers and other complex metal parts.
For more demanding components, the process can be carried out in several successive stages, allowing greater drawing depths and precise final dimensions to be achieved. When required, deep drawing can also be combined with other forming and machining processes. The process is suitable for various types of sheet metal and enables precise, repeatable and efficient production. Thanks to efficient material utilization, it is suitable for both small and large production runs. Quality and manufacturing methods can be tailored to the specific requirements of each product.
Working Range:
- Diameter: 50–600 mm
- Material thickness: up to 3 mm
